From zero to $10,000
Contrary to many successful players, Chris Ferguson doesn't mind playing on low stakes. Few of his colleagues would have gone into the challenge of gathering $10,000 without investing one single dollar.
Ferguson started out in freerolls and spent 15 months working on his bankroll. He would win a few dollars and lose them again. Not until six months after the start did the bankroll stabilize – at $6.50. Then it took another nine months until he finally reached the $10,000 line. An amazing feat to say the least!
Chris is currently working on Full Tilt Poker where he helped design the software and the core of the site. He also plays there regularly.
