First Legends Burger House Poker Tournament Goes Off With a Bang!!

Thursday night was Legend’s Burger House’s First Poker Tournament.  It was a huge success!  There was 8 tournament entrants who were all vying for the top 3 money places.  The rebuy format paved the way for a lot of early action.  Joe Chung took an early lead, while  one of the favorites, Hurricane Keith, took an early bad beat and was put out first by Jason with a flopped flush.  Players began dropping like flies after the mid game break where everyone took the opportunity to enjoy Legend’s Burger House beer pitchers and burgers.   The tournament soon got down to the bubble zone with Tyler, Jason, Joe, and Kelsey all trying desperately to make it into the money.  Tyler, the games host, took the walk to the losers lounge with a big suckout.  You can see his disgust by the picture here.  This made the Top Money finishers in Legend’s Poker Room First Tournament Jason, Kelsey, and Joe.  Jason quickly took Kelsey out, making Joe and Jason heads up with Joe having a 10:1 chip lead.  Joe (A3) took down Jason(A8s) the very next hand when the “3″ came on the flop.  Congrats to all Money Finishers.  Don’t forget to come next Thursday to Legend’s Poker Room for more excitement, poker, burgers, and beer.
